DisplayHop does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
No analytics. No telemetry. No crash reports. No tracking.
DisplayHop makes no automatic network requests by default. You can manually check for updates from the menu bar, or enable automatic update checks in Settings. When checking for updates, the app fetches displayhop.com/version.json — a small JSON file with the latest version number. No personal information is sent.
All preferences (keyboard shortcuts, animation settings) are stored locally on your Mac using macOS UserDefaults. They never leave your device.
DisplayHop requires no special permissions. It uses standard macOS APIs to move your cursor between displays.
